HIT+RUN has been invited by The MAGIC Marketplace to hold three very special events on February 13th, 14th & 15th in the Streetwear section of the convention in Las Vegas. 

The H+R Crew has reached out to a number of brands and asked them to participate by contributing an exclusive design. A strict 400 blank shirts will be given out each day for convention attendees that HIT+RUN will screen on-site for them with their own selection and placement of designs. These shirts will become invaluable pieces of one-off art, combining the freshest brands in the market today.

Check out the limited edition printing sessions from NOON-2PM and 4PM-6PM each day in the LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER, South Hall, 2nd Level, Streetwear, Boost Mobile Tent.

Bugz in the Attic member Daz-I-Kue might occasionally get lost in the shuffle of the U.K. collective (its members currently total eight), but this man is a hard person to miss when he gets behind the decks. Daz-I-Kue's sound is typically categorized under the broken beat label, but don't be so quick to pigeonhole a style that often tends to include soul, jazz, house and modern electro--as was best exemplified on the Bugz's highly praised compilation for the Fabric Live series. What is most impressive about Daz-I-Kue is not only his ability to
uncover hidden gems dug up from hours of record-digging (one attribute that has made him a favorite of U.K. tastemaker Gilles Peterson), but also his aptitude at attracting the attention of music lovers' favoring genres not closely related to his own. Currently on tour supporting the Bugz's latest single "Back in the Dog House," it's time to get out of the attic and grab something soulful to eat.

Lee Perry Guinness, SSON, San Diego and Jamie Kennedy

Running around ASR and Agenda tradeshows in San Diego this weekend, along with hosting a party for comedians (a funny crowd - literally!) at the HVW8 LA gallery. No photos, but luckily Tobias from Sweden walked through the door and introduced me to his SSON bikes. Hopefully a collab in the near future.

This past Saturday Ty G was painting with Suntzu Sound and DJ Riz at the baltic Room in Seattle. Lot's of fun!!! Big ups to the Vancouver Canucks who made the drive down to snuggle up with Shawn Kemp.

LA Lately and Warhol's Children

Got a major treat last night with Mark de Clive Lowe and Landy Shores (from Ramp) doing a live set of Daylight at the Mountain Bar in Los Angeles, on their Free Soul Sessions Tour. Aloe and Blu were in the house - watch out for those cats! On Wednesday from DJ Nuts from San Paulo held it down at barcade playing the mad brazil styles, records you'll never find.
